With Aimsun you can edit urban infrastructures and simulate pedestrian crossings in order to make sure that the model created will withstand all kinds of conditions. The simulation is extremely realistic and can be carried out on the ground of Google Earth to house your own infrastructures in real places without having to locate them in fictitious locations.
The Legion system has been integrated into Aimsun so that architects can go further when it comes to shaping their own infrastructures and have the possibility of checking that pedestrians will be able to use them without any risk. The transit of virtual people is configurable by you along with other parameters so that the simulation adapts exactly to the type of structure designed.
Other urban infrastructure editing programs force you to place them on an imaginary terrain, but Aimsun is associated with Google Earth so that you can locate them in any city making a posteriori the corresponding pedestrian simulation.
